One of the world’s largest investment management firms.
 
The challenge
While the client had investments in quality initiatives and metrics in place, loosely coupled team with no rigor in measurement and skew to measuring service levels as against software development and project delivery led to unclear ROI. Thus the challenge was to set up a quality framework to measure and capture value to ensure same was commensurate with investments.
 
The solution
The team of Wipro consultants followed a three phase approach – discovery, metrics definition and implementation. The team assessed the client’s IT quality practices to identify and improve both inconsistencies in implementation and gaps to positively impact both project timeliness and software quality.

Opportunities to improve the IT quality practices were identified to positively impact both project timelines and software quality. These opportunities were then prioritized to yield quick wins.
