| The client had acquired
a third party 'point of sale' application that lacked
well defined processes and procedures. There was no automation
for requirements gathering, release definition and change
management. There were multiple teams working on parallel
releases with more than one release working on the same
set of requirements. This lead to frequent conflicts and
redundancy of releases due to changes in the underlying
requirements. |

| The Wipro team defined
a detailed requirements management process using CaliberRM,
encompassing requirements gathering, transformation, traceability,
baseline and change management. A policy and procedure
documentation containing detailed guidelines was also
created. The practitioners trained through a series of
workshops to ensure familiarization with the tool and
with the process implementation. |
